Meet the Artist

Jacqueline Dawn

How It Started

For as long as she remembers, Jacquie has always been a tinkerer, maker, and a crafter. At an early age, she enjoyed countless hours in the garage with her father- building, welding, and learning how to use tools.

As a creative person, she was always encouraged and proud to create unique gifts for family and friends–rather than buying them.  Later in life, as a jewelry lover herself, she found a piece of jewelry she absolutely fell in love with. Doing some research, she discovered it was an enamelled piece of metal! That was it! The next day, she bought a blowtorch and a book….the rest is history.

With a Medical Laboratory Technology background, she discovered that enamelling/metalsmith techniques were the perfect blend of chemistry, tools, creativity, and of course PPE! (Safety First!). She’s been hooked ever since!

How It’s Going

Her studio is currently nestled in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains of Western Canada. She enjoys countless hours in her ‘happy place’ making intuitive pieces—often with a special person in mind. She strives to create unique pieces while envisioning the wearer.

Creating something that inspires people to live fully, to express themselves and have fun in each day – that's what she’s about. Everyone can make a difference and offer change in this world by infecting people with warmth, through humour, inspiration and creativity. Everyday is a gift.

Jewelry designed to be worthy of the women who wear it.

What Inspires Us

Jacquie’s inspiration comes from nearly everything around her! Whether it be meeting new people, driving across Canada, or travelling to new places.

Born in the prairies of Saskatchewan, she still falls in love with the bright yellow fields, and the green crops. She also worked in Saudi Arabia- in a military hospital- where, she enjoyed the never-ending sand dunes, bright blue skies, and walking along the coast of the Persian Gulf. Beauty is everywhere—you just have to look for it.

Our Pillars & Ethics

Made by Canadian hands. Intentionally Sourced Materials.

  • Completely Original & Not Mass Produced

Despite having a science background, Jacquie crafts each piece by hand with her heart and intuition.

In celebrating women and everything that we are, it’s integral that each piece remain unique. Like pottery, enamelling results are dependent on many variables which can make the final creation a fun surprise adding to each pieces uniqueness!

  • Inspired & Versatile

Continuously inspired to innovate, Jacquie aims to design versatile jewelry, allowing the same pendants to be worn in different ways, and pairs them with chains with adjustable lengths. This way each piece can be as unique as you and be tweaked to suit your mood or style each day it’s worn.

    Giving Ventures

Jacqueline frequently offers a portion of profits to various organizations close to her heart.

Every year on November 11, Canadians pause in a silent moment of remembrance for the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace. Millions of Canadians wear a Poppy as a visual pledge to never forget those who served and sacrificed. The red flower also is the symbol of the Royal Canadian Legion's Poppy Campaign.

Jacqueline donates a portion of her November Poppy jewelry, to local Legions raising funds to support Veterans and their families in need.

Our store is stocked with original jewelry, made intentionally by hand.
